"I don't get what you're saying."

"Wait, what are we doing?"

"I'm lost. What's this all about?"

"That email was too long. I didn't read it."

"Why do we keep running in circles?"

Sound Familiar?

If you've heard (or said) any of those things recently, then there's a good chance that your team is in need of a new way of working and communicating.

The problem? An over-reliance on words.

That's not your fault, it's a byproduct of how our education system prioritizes the development of verbal skills like reading and writing over visual skills like sketching out quick drawings and diagrams.

I'm here to help you and your team balance out that scale by unlocking the power of visual thinking.

But it's not just about sketching, it's also about strategy.

Strategic Thinking Meets Visual Thinking

This training program merges two powerful ways of thinking: strategically and visually.

When you think strategically, you pay attention not just to what you’re doing, but also what you’re not doing.

On top of that, you focus not just on individual activities but also on how those activities fit together. The goal is to spend your time on those activities that reinforce each other on their way toward achieving your goals.

Since strategy is about the integration of unique activities that take place within a complex environment, simply talking them out or writing them out is unlikely to lead to the clarity or stickiness required to put meaningful strategy into action. That’s where visual thinking comes in.

When you think visually, you capture ideas in the form of simple drawings and diagrams so that you can tap into the benefits of cognitive offloading (creating an external resource that extends the brain's capacity) and dual coding (engaging both the verbal and visual networks of the brain).

By creating a visual representation of the activities you choose to take on and the ways in which they’re integrated, you will arrive at a better strategy, quicker, that’s easier to share across your team.
